From the courts of Duke Men's Basketball to neighborhood driveways and community gyms, Nate has become more than a coach - he is a believer in the power of basketball to shape minds, bodies, character, and lives. Hoops For Hope was born from his conviction that every child - whether chasing a professional career or simply needing a place to grow deserves access to the lessons and joy the game provides, guided by true expertise that prepares them to excel both on and off the court.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
At Hoops For Hope, our mission is to make the power of basketball accessible to every child. By providing camps, clinics, and after school programs. We empower youth and offer a safe and encouraging environment to learn, play, and grow in hopes of building strong athletes, resilient leaders, and confident young people prepared for life.
Every donation helps a child access training, mentorship, and leadership opportunities.
From one-day clinics and summer camps to longer-term training programs, every experience matters.
Camps spark valuable inspiration and establish a foundation of core skills. However, our greater vision is for the extended commitments of 10 months in our E3A After School Program for younger students or three, six, and 12 month enrollments for our E3A athletes.
With many programs being eliminated due to budget cuts and decreased funding, having a committed team of donors ensures every Hoops For Hope Inc. scholarship is filled by a worthy child which will allow mentorship and character development to take root over time.
Every gift does more than sustain a program-it invests in a child's journey.
